Deidra Stephens as the president of New Beginnings Consultants is a uniquely qualified professional whose career in various corporate industries and with non-profits spans 20 plus years.

As a Human Resources Manager and a Controller, Deidra engulfed herself in human resource laws, GAAP principles, SOX regulations as well as survival principles concerning basic skills for success in both the corporate and non-profit environments. Her goal in founding New Beginnings is to bring this knowledge and those principles for success to select entities as a way of improving personnel skills therefore improving company productivity. 

During her career she established processes and procedures in personnel development by way of employee manuals and employee training. She has taken companies from having no procedures and policies to having complete employee manuals. She has motivated disgruntled employees, held together management teams, evaluated and made necessary changes to improve employee productivity and company cohesiveness.

She is well-versed in Human Resource Laws and the "dos and don'ts" concerning employees and prospective employees. She brings to the table skills that will assist your company in its goals to improve management skills and co-worker relationships. She also provides individual counseling services to employees on an elective basis or a mandatory company sponsored basis.

Deidra brings a breadth of knowledge and experience in personnel training and counseling that is unsurpassed by other professionals because she’s experienced the best and worst of both corporate and non-profit environments. 

She earned various training certificates involving human resources and is a certified pastoral counselor.  She has been a motivational speaker for 20 plus years and feels most comfortable helping to improve and impact the lives of others in a positive manner. Additionally, Deidra attended Oral Roberts University and is presently completing her Masters Degree in Christian Counseling.  She chose this area of counseling in order to fuse her counseling education with her faith so at the very least she could incorporate prayer while counseling her clients.    

She decided at the beginning of 2008 that she would best serve the corporate and non-profit industries by launching her own consultant firm therefore using her skills throughout the corporate and non-profit industries and not just at one location.
